Vigor Mundi Ltd is Organic certified in the UK by the SOIL ASSOCIATION and was founded in London in 2014 by Dez Vyzelman after many years of searching for natural products from reliable sources and ethical producers across the world. While working long hours in the film industry (as a film director, camera man and martial arts choreographer) and traveling frequently as an entrepreneur-consultant, it seemed difficult to find food that was free from artificial additives, soya, allergens and unnecessary chemicals.
If and when there were labels with a list of ingredients, there was a lack of transparency. For example, "vegetable oil/protein": what vegetable was used? E-numbers: what were these actually composed of? Therefore, the goal of Vigor Mundi was to find products that are:
1) Truly beneficial to vitality of body and mind (we only sell what we really believe in and consume ourselves, not because it is a current hype or trend).
2) Clearly defined in its composition. Our labels contain as much information as possible about the general composition and the percentage of ingredients used.
3) Sourced from ethical producers. This means that there is concern in the process for the environment, growers and the end consumer. Strict quality control and consistency are deciding factors in our long term association with suppliers.
We aim to build a long term relationship with both B2C and B2B customers, by bringing the products to our customers with a good price-quality ratio. Where possible we try to reduce cost by minimising packaging.
In addition, we will blog regularly about nutrition and superfoods to inform anyone interested in a healthy lifestyle. This will not be necessarily be about our own products, but about how to find the balance between nutrition, rest and exercise that is so important to a healthy body and mind.
